
Evan Sanchez
Evan Sanchez is a Vice President at Worth Valuations, where he specializes in the valuation of multifamily real estate throughout Southern California. His experience spans a broad spectrum of assignments, ranging from privately-owned apartment properties to some of the region's highest-profile institutional assets.
Mr. Sanchez has extensive experience valuing complex multifamily properties, including mixed-use developments, value-add acquisitions, agency-financed properties (Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae), condominium projects, affordable housing communities, and proposed land developments. He also has significant experience with bridge loan assignments and institutional multifamily assets at various stages of development.
As California's regulatory environment continues to evolve, Mr. Sanchez has developed specialized expertise in the valuation of properties affected by changing housing policies and financing structures. His experience includes Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) developments, ED1 projects, Section 8 housing, specialized affordable housing financing programs, co-living communities, accessory dwelling unit (ADU) conversions, and micro-unit developments.
Mr. Sanchez's clients include agency lenders, balance sheet banks, debt funds, private lenders, institutional owners, and private investors. He also provides valuation and consulting services for attorneys, accountants, developers, and other real estate professionals. His assignments regularly include estate and gift tax valuations, partial interest valuations, feasibility studies, market analyses, and other complex valuation and consulting engagements.
Known for his market knowledge and industry relationships, Mr. Sanchez has cultivated an extensive network of brokers, owners, developers, and other market participants throughout Southern California. These relationships, combined with his analytical expertise, provide valuable market insight across a wide range of assignment types.
Mr. Sanchez began his career in public accounting with BDO before transitioning to commercial real estate valuation in 2019. Prior to joining Worth Valuations, he worked alongside George Koiso and Pedro Chin at CBRE for three years. Shortly after Worth Valuations was founded, Mr. Sanchez became the firm's first employee and has played an integral role in its continued growth.
An active member of the Appraisal Institute's Southern California Chapter, Mr. Sanchez previously served as Chair of the Public Relations Committee, where he helped significantly expand the Chapter's marketing initiatives and LinkedIn presence. He has also received multiple local and national scholarships toward completion of the MAI designation and has been featured by the Chapter on numerous occasions.
Mr. Sanchez earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Leung School of Accounting at Azusa Pacific University.
